Project Introduction

Throughout human history, nature has always been the primary source of inspiration for human creation and construction, and the order in nature, above all else, has inspired artists to create works of art. Humans, in their quest for survival or, more accurately, a better quality of life, have often enslaved this natural order. Human’s insatiable hunger for using the Earth’s resources and the parallel increase in the world’s population throughout history have unintentionally led to pollution, disorder, and sometimes the destruction of nature. In the midst of this, artists who have recognized the perilous beauty of their surroundings have made nature the subject of their works and have risen in an effort to awaken the world. Among the arts related to nature, art with a message is more important for me. In this project, the main focus is on global warming, and more specifically, the drying up of Lake Urmia, which has led to a catastrophe in that part of the world. Meanwhile, as a calligraphy artist, I have attempted to reflect my art in photographs independently of its classical function.
